Fast Food Disappointment

Imagine you went to McDonalds,

and instead of: “Enjoy!”

they said simply, “Endure!”

As you rise, in surprise,

With your burger and fries.

They add, “Would you like flies with that, sir?”

And their smiles are all fake,

Like your strawberry shake,

which hasn’t been.

Let alone stirred.

So “Have a Nice Day!”

Well — I started that way –

Although now I’m not really so sure.
